Workshop 1: Water bottle Waterfall: 8-30 pupils - ages 11-14 - 1-day workshop. Using recycled plastic bottles and following demonstration; students will cut their bottles into spirals. They will work in groups to make sections of a waterfall, which will be strung together to create an excellent classroom or foyer display.
Workshop 2: Seed Sculpture: up to 34 pupils - ages 5-7 or 7-11 - 1-day workshop. What is a seed, how does it grow? If metal mixes with seeds what is created? Students identify several seeds and collect organic matter from outside. They combine their gathered objects with wire and jewellery to create a hybrid plant.
Workshop 3: Land Art: up to 30 pupils - ages 14 - 18 and adults. 1, 2, or 3-day workshop. Thinking about perceptions of space, students draw, on the move, using viewfinders to isolate ground, sky and horizon. They map an area of the school grounds and work in groups to create life-size shelters or interventions in the landscape.
Workshop 4: A Variety of Leaves: up to 34 pupils - ages 7-13 - 1-day workshop. An exploration of leaf varieties, printing techniques and sewing all rolled into a day focused on trees.
