Workshop Proposals : Workshop 1: Figures, creatures, vehicles or buildings/landmarks made from recycled materials. This workshop involves designing the sculpture, usually in table teams, and constructing it using a variety of recycled materials such as cardboard, plastic and scrap wood. The workshop can be linked to a variety of topics. Examples include portrait busts or figures, wetland birds, eco superheroes or sustainable vehicles of the future.
Workshop 2: Shadow puppets. Using a story or theme as a starting point create shadow puppets from card and found materials and use them to tell a story.
Workshop 3: Create small individual recycled artworks, e.g. insects, flowers, mini-me sculptures or stick puppets.

Qualifications :
2003 - MA Scenography, Central St Martins.
1997 - BA (Hons) Fine Art (2:1), De Montfort University.
2000 - City & Guilds 7307 Stage 1, Teaching Art and Design in Adult Education, Loughborough University.  
Exhibitions : Michelle undertakes commissions in public spaces such as parks and shopping malls. Recent exhibitions and commissions have included the AGAIN upcycling exhibition in Kuwait and the Recycled Sculpture Show at the London Wetland Centre.

Work Experience : Freelance sculptor and artist educator since 1998.

Orleans House Gallery, Twickenham regular schools out-reach, after school clubs and family sessions over six years.
Whitefield Schools, Walthamstow several 3 to 5-day projects with SEN students
Harris Academy Coleraine Park, Tottenham making sculptures and installations inspired by artists such as Van Gogh and Kandinsky.
Pontardawe School, Lead Creative Schools Scheme, Wales. Collaborating with an actor to develop literacy through the story of The Iron Woman.
