Workshop Proposals : Project 1 - Yes You Can Draw - A positive workshop that will prove to all pupils that they can draw. The end result is not just about producing a likeness, but will emphasise personal style.
Project 2 - Design a Poster - Pupils will be taught basic layout rules, careful planning of design, composition, size of type etc. Themes could be “Save your favourite animal from extinction" or similar.
Project 3 - Create a Cool Portrait: Using digital photography (you will need computers and software) the result will aim to capture the feel of the model and create a cool contemporary portrait. Pupils will work in pairs.
Project 4 - Digital manipulation in Photoshop - Pupils work on their own preferred images learning about filters, layers, modifying colours, cropping etc.
