Printmaking - Primary (7-11) Quick and fun line drawing exercises using charcoal, aiming to increase confidence in spontaneous mark making. Developing drawing into prints using sheets of polystyrene to create simple relief prints. Two colour printing possible, no printing press required.
Wire Sculpture - Primary (8-11) Quick line drawing exercises using charcoal. Increasing confidence in creating spontaneous fluid marks, looking at negative spaces and continuous line drawings. Converting the line drawing into 3 dimensions using aluminum wire, creating simple, yet eye catching sculptures.
Printmaking (6th Form & Adults) - Mono-printing workshop - drawing on the back of paper onto a rolled out area of ink. Or painting onto a smooth surface and taking a print from it. Developing use of colour and texture creating vibrant results.
Collograph workshop (6th Form & Adults) - building up layers of card, found materials and glue to create a textured surface to print with or without a press.
Drypoint workshop (6th Form & Adults) - developing drawing and mark making skills by using perspex or aluminum plates for intaglio printmaking (press required)
